Canine Adenovims TypeⅠbelongs to the family Adenoviridae, the genus of mammalian adenovirus in the classification. It causes canine infectious hepatitis, (an acute septic infectious disease characterized by central necrosis of liver lobules, inclusion bodies in the nuclei of liver parenchymal cells and cortical cells, and prolonged hemorrhage.)
This kit is used to detect canine adenovirus typeⅠantigen in the secretions from the eyes, nose and mouth of dogs, and to screen and assist in the diagnosis of canine adenovirus typeⅠ infection.
This product uses rapid immunochromatography technology to detect canine adenovirus type I antigen in the secretions of the eyes, nose and mouth of dogs. If there was CAV I antigen in the sample, it would specifically bind to the recombinant protein labeled with colloidal gold to form a complex that moved along the chromatographic membrane and was captured by CAV I antibody coated on the membrane, showing a wine red line on the detection line (T). If the CAV I antigen is not present in the sample, no visible lines are formed at the T position. No matter the result is negative or positive, the C line should be colored, otherwise the result is invalid.
Negative: In the test window, only one fuchsia-colored line appear next to “C”.
Positive: In the test window, two distinct colored lines appear next to “T” & “C” simultaneously.
Invalid: No color line visible next to “C”.
NOTE: Invalid test results can be caused by various reasons and should be re-tested.
